Ampara B. Carey appeals from the November 7, 1997 decision of the United States Court of Veterans Appeals ("the court"), which affirmed the decision of the Board of Veterans Appeals ("the Board") denying her claim for dependency and indemnity benefits on the merits. See Carey v. Gober, No. 96-711 (Vet. App. Nov. 7, 1997). Because Ms. Careys appeal raises only issues of fact, and issues of law as applied to the facts of this particular case, we dismiss her appeal for lack of jurisdiction.
